From January 2015 to November 2016, Lia sang with women, children and young people in an emergency shelter for refugees in Wilmersdorf and Mariendorf in Berlin. She shared her impressions in a blog as a diary: A nice experience.

In 2019 she started the Lia @ Sally's concert series, where she presented various programs with special guests every second Wednesday at Sally Bowles Berlin. Lia's new singer songwriter album Hier und jetzt (Here and Now) was released at the end of 2019. March 2020, Lia started the LIA & CORonA project, in which she wrote a new song every week and sang it unplugged at home and presented it on YouTube. For the Fete de la Musique, she presented her 12 songs, created in 12 weeks of quarantine, on Facebook. In total, Lia wrote around 30 new songs during the 2020-22 Corona lockdown, which she shared with her fans as YouTube home videos, including live concerts at Christmas, or as a digital Christmas calendar.

Every Sunday in 2022, Lia also walked across Tempelhofer Feld with her guitar and sang for peace: Singing for peace.

In cooperation with the bassist and arranger Carmelo Leotta, string arrangements for some of their new songs have been created since the end of 2020. Eine Rose für dich (A rose for you) and Not big enough whale are already published. Her new album String Fantasy will be released soon.
